I am very interested in foreign policy matters, but I love discussing politics, world affairs, and social movements/issues, because I believe awareness is the key to fixing many issues in this society. I realize that I am becoming more and more overwhelmed by the apathy with which people worldwide can have toward issues. I want to draw attention to various issues somehow, and I am doing it by doing what I know best - analyzing and offering recommendations. For every viewer or reader that sees this, hopefully their mind is impacted in some way.

“To climb steep hills requires a slow pace at first.” -Shakespeare

Success. Everyone has a different definition for this word. My personal definition is close to the Shakespeare quote above, which happens to be one of my personal favorites. Success may not happen to you over night. It is something that takes time to fulfill. It also means setting goals, or checkpoints, to help you reach success.

While reaching success does not happen over night, having goals can help you make it happen. Yes, I feel like I have been pretty successful throughout college, but I would probably not feel this way if I had not set goals for myself to reach while I was still in high school. Along with goals for college, I have set goals for after college. I will need to graduate first to begin to reach most of these goals in particular, but like my definition this is something I stick to.

Another part of success that I will leave you with is being humble. Yes, it feels great to succeed in something, but I do not feel like success is something someone needs to gloat about. Yes, let people know you succeeded at something you really dreamt about succeeding in, but you do not need to brag about it and rub it in the face of others. Be humble!
