We all know the story of David and Goliath, if not you can find it in 1 Samuel 17.
Goliath was a giant Philistine warrior. He was large in stature, older in age than his adversary and had plenty of experience fighting in battles.
Then there was David, smaller in stature, less experienced in battle, but more experienced at life and tending his sheep.
Goliath came to battle with his armor and shield, David with his staff and sling. Both prepared for battle with what they knew and were trained with.
However David had some things on his side that Goliath didn’t. David had the knowledge of people, animal instincts from taking care of his flock and his faith.
What did Goliath have? Nothing but a façade Goliath won all those other battles not because he was better, but because he was intimidating to his competition because of his size and manner.
So Corporate America I ask to you who do you want working for you?
Goliaths people with huge facades, psyching people out with their knowledge and abilities?
Or
Davids those who are knowledgeable about their job, what they can and can’t handle, a people’s people with their faith grounded in the Lord?
If I had my own business I’d only hire Davids, cause not only would I and my company grow in maturity and be blessed, but so would all those who associated themselves.
Remember the blessings of the Lord are contagious.
