I love music. Music can make you feel a connection to a certain place or person. It can warm your heart when the world has turned it cold. When I hear good music I love to share it with the world. K.Two music is that good music. Everyone needs some inspiration from time to time, and this is inspirational music.
K.TWO is a Christian rapper that makes you really take notice. His lyrics are witty, thought provoking and you can tell that every word is from the heart. He has used that God given talent to not only make music but as a part of Music National Service he is teaching and inspiring future generations to do the same. Being involved with music since the age of 5, K.TWO didn’t really take a hold of his musically craft until around 13 years old when he became interested in the piano. Adding his talent and his devotion to God and nothing he tried to do was impossible.
As a writer and producer, K.TWO already has two mix tapes ( Samtrackz Unplugged Vol I & II - collaborations with other Bay Area artists) and an independent album (Religion or Relationship) already under his belt. Now he is ready to hit us with another highly anticipated masterpiece called The Farewell Letters on March 21st, 2010.
Music is diverse and inclusive yet at times it can be more about the melody than the message. To find a new artist that is about the message without sacrificing the melody is refreshing. As a gospel artist in this day and age of rap, with the emergence of people like Gucci Mane and the new Boyz, it can be difficult to reach the masses outside of the sanctuary. I feel that this music has the opportunity to do just that. By putting a spin on already gospel or Christian music instead of secular tracks he is able to introduce a different audience to Gospel music that may not have otherwise listened. Reaching the lost at all costs.
