So here I am with Dana Coppafeel’s new album, Welfare Foods. Not sure what to expect yet truly excited. The Rockford, IL bred emcee, who now resides in Milwaukee, WI, first caught my ear with his single, “88,” which is still in heavy rotation courtesy of my media player. The LP is surprisingly soulful and should satisfy both old-time fans and newcomers.
